Biography

Dr. Parsons’ education and training, coupled with his passion for orthopaedic surgery, make Dr. Parsons a valuable asset to our community. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 2017. Following this, he completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Baylor Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas and a Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship at Renaissance School of Medicine Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York.

His clinical interests focus on surgery of the hand and upper extremity, encompassing acute injuries, fractures, chronic degenerative conditions, tendon ruptures/lacerations, compression neuropathies, as well as shoulder and elbow replacement. Additionally, he demonstrates proficiency in treating hip fractures, ankle fractures, and other lower extremity long bone fractures.

Dr. Parsons has presented at various national and regional conferences, earning recognition for his contributions to the field. Furthermore, he is an active member of professional associations, including the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
